Hi there,

I have two email accounts, the old one is no longer in use but it has a lot of valuable files stored in the Dropbox account which I need.

I am now using a new email account with access to Dropbox and wish to transfer the data from the old account to the new account.

How do I do this?

Thanks for clarifying that for us @craigpalmer

In that case, you can simply move all of your content from the older account in one folder and share the folder with your new account.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi @craigpalmer, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you able to access the old Dropbox account and login normally?

This will help me to assist further!

Hi there,

Thanks for that.

When I share with my new account, my new account is telling me I dont have enough space to accept the folder invitation.

The reason for this I think is because all My Documents files are being backed up using Dropbox making it full.

How do I remove this back up and move to another means to enable space in my new Dropbox?

Cheers

Hey @craigpalmer! You can disable computer backup for your "Documents" folder with these steps.
