Hello,

 

I have two problems. First, I deleted a basic account for which I used my consulting email address. I would like to use that address to join another team but Dropbox said that the email address was already in use. Is there a fix for this?

 

Second problem: I joined a team using yet another email address for which I have a paid Dropbox account. However, Dropbox put ALL of my content onto that new team's account. I guess the accounts were merged but I'm not sure how that happened. How can my content be removed from that new team?

 

Any advice will be appreciated. This has been quite frustrating. Thanks!

Hey there @pellen - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

 

As for the first issue, note that this means that there's already a Dropbox account associated with the email address you used and that you probably didn't delete the account in the first place. Have you tried signing into the account instead?

 

When it comes to the second issue, you'll need to contact the team's admin and ask them to convert your account back to an individual one.
