How can I export my Dropbox folder in a team to a new Dropbox account?

Hi Everyone- I had my own Dropbox account with my work files.  Another company that I am affiliated with invited me to their Dropbox and when I accepted the invitation, it converted MY Dropbox account with theirs.  I was able to still access my files, but under their Dropbox.  That company is now closing and I want to export my folder to a new Dropbox account.  

Do I need their admin to do that?  What are the steps involved?

You can ask their admin to convert your account back to a personal account away from the team, by having them follow these steps.

Once on a personal account, you can keep it as is, or move it to another account if need be.
