Re: Lost data

Can I restore my Dropbox account, if it was deleted due to inactivity?

hi everyone, how can I restore my dropbox account deleted in 2019, due to the fact that I have not logged into my account for a year?

Simply put I'm afraid you cannot.

Accounts removed for inactivity are permanently removed and the data etc. become unrecoverable.

Hi all,

It seems that my old dropbox account was deleted due to inactivity.

Does anyone know if there is anyway I could ask to retrieve the data.  I had last accessed it in 2019.

Hi @Lara10

Unfortunately no, once an account is deleted for inactivity all data is permanently removed and lost. There is no way to recover it - even via paid upgrades.
