A one-time code is sent to my old email address, when trying to log in

Hi there,

I no longer have access to my old email. I can remember the Dropbox password, but when I login, I receive a message; "

Additional authentication is required
We sent a code to myusername@mydomain and any devices you’ve linked to this account. Enter the code to continue. "
It appears to be a multifactor authentication method. However, as I do not have access to this email address, I cannot get the code.
How can I change my email address to a new address and recover my files?
Thanks for your help
C

It is very unlikely you will be able to do so: https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access

You can try logging a support ticket while not logged in - even to here. Try using an incognito window and go to www.dropbox.com/support
