Plans and Subscriptions
Ask the Dropbox Community for help if you have questions about your Dropbox plan or subscription. Find solutions and share advice with members.
We are considering the need to move to an Enterprise plan, however, all team members currently have individual plans (cost gets reimbursed). How would we open an enterprise plan and absorb all 6 individual plans? Or does everyone need to end their account and be re-added once the enterprise plan is set up? Would one member NOT end their plan and instead handle the upgrade to enterprise?
Looking for info on all of these aspects of subscription changes when dealing with individual plans.
Hey @Rebecca16, thanks for taking the time to post to our Community!
When upgrading to Dropbox Business in general, first you'll need to choose which one of the accounts will become the team admin.
Once you've found who'll be admin, they are going to be the one to upgrade their account to Business.
Once they've upgraded, they'll be free to invite any account they want to join the team.
Even if the invitees have individual subscriptions, once invited, their subscriptions will end and they'll get a prorated refund for those subscriptions.
You can read more about the process here.
Let me know if you have any questions!
