Can't sign in to team account

Hi,

 

I'm using a private dropbox account and received an invitation for the company I work with.

 

When I want to add a team account I get the (error) message: "Sign in to a team account".

 

The accounts are all basic plans.

 

A colleague of mine has the same setting and it worked.

Hey @krabat, and welcome to our Community!

Can I ask what steps you follow when trying to add a team account? 

You also mentioned that the accounts are all under the Basic plan, do you want to create a Business plan and merge it with yours?

Hi Lori,

 

At Dropbox' MacOS application I click on my Icon at the top right corner and then on "add team account".

 

It's not planed to top up the basic plans.

Hey @krabat

It is possible to have two separate accounts on the same device, as long as one is Business, and the other one is your individual one. 

However, it's not possible to link two Basic, Plus, Professional or Business accounts. You can always switch between accounts by signing out and back in to the app.

Can you clarify if you have two Basic accounts?

How can I switch from private to business?

 

Yes, I have 2 basics accounts.

In order for you to move on a Business plan, you would need to upgrade by purchasing the plan.

Let me know if you have any issues, when doing so.
