DROPBOX assists FELONIOUS ACTIONS and LIES to it's prospective customers and EXISTING, Paying customers.

They promise that DELETED FILES can be brought back within 30 days.

LIE.

Dropbox support wrote three times that my business content was safe and I just needed to give them the date and time to provide our business content.

Doesn't matter if it was STOLEN IDENTITY and/or a DISGRUNTLED EMPLOYEE.

DROPBOX then says "No, we can't give you back your data because it was deleted "PERMANENTLY".

Hi there @Brumo - sorry to hear about your deleted files.

Since you've already contacted our support team about this, could you share your ticket ID so that we can look it up in our system?

If the files you mentioned were indeed permanently deleted, I'm afraid there's nothing we can do from our end to restore them.

Keep us posted!

Data can be recovered for more than 30 days if its a paid account BUT it can only be done so if it isnt permanently removed. That is something which the user must do, and confirm multiple times they want to do. They HAVE to follow what that user said because if they didnt they'd be in legal issues for NOT doing what users wanted.

As you are saying it was a rogue employee why were they not on a Business Plan which had access controls in place? Where are the backups? Where are the safety measures in place to make sure this cannot happen?
