Delete, edit, and organize
Solve issues with deleting, editing, and organizing files and folders in your Dropbox account with support from the Dropbox Community.
Hey @Nusa S, sorry to jump in here.
Just to clarify, Dropbox wouldn't delete your files.
If the user that deleted the files didn't actively delete them, then that means that perhaps there was something wrong with their hard drive at the time, or they were moved to a different location rather than deleted (a large move might appear as files deleted then added on the events page).
You should be able to restore the files either from the events page, or with Dropbox rewind.
Once you restore them, I would suggest taking a look at an example file's version history, to see which device it got deleted from.

Hey @Nusa S, sorry to hear about your missing files.
If you made sure that you're logged into the correct account, could you have a look at your events page and let us know if you see any sign of them there?
This is the place where all uploads, edits, and deletions are normally logged so it should give you a hint or two.
Keep us posted anyhow!

Some of them are there but no one deleted them. Person who dropbox says that deleted them was not even at computer at that time
This are really important files and I need an explanation how could this happen. And I also need that dropbox restores all the files like they were. I pay 200€ per year and I expect my files are safe.
