My files are gone because I didn't disband my team in time. Can I recover them?

I just received an email from Dropbox saying that all my files are gone because I didn't disband Teams in time. I had reasons for completely forgetting about the deadline on 3 October. I desperately need to get my files back. Can't contact Dropbox. Who knows what I can do?

When the team account is deleted, everything owned by the team is permanently deleted and can’t be restored.
