My credit card failed, and I lost all of my files.

2 days ago I received notice my credit card failed for renewal and was told to update it soon. . I was not in a place to get wifi, so now 2 days later I renewed and all my files are gone! And, by the way, there was nothing wrong with the credit card on file, so not sure why it did not renew...How do I get my files back?

Dropbox does not delete files upon upgrades failing. In fact all it does is stop syncing occurring. 

 

So, something else has happened here. 

 

You can go to www.dropbox.com/events and look to see where the files etc. are?
