Missing Folders & Files.
I have recently had to add an additional dropbox folder onto my MAC which is working fine. I hadn't realised that by adding a new folder the original dropbox on my MAC would be removed and I would have to access it online,
When I did access it online I discovered many of my folders and files had disappeared. They are not in the moved or deleted folder and I urgently need to recover the files as it includes many years of work & accounts,
Is there any way they can be recovered?

Hi there, CHI71, welcome to our Community!
Let me recap to make sure we're on the same page about this. Feel free to correct me, if I got something wrong there.
Now, the way that I understand your situation is that you signed out of your Dropbox account on your Mac device, and logged into a different account. Is that the case?
Then, you accessed your account online, and saw that some of your content was missing, and now you have issues trying to locate them.
Have you tried accessing your events page, to see what it reports? The Events page at www.dropbox.com/events gives you an overview of all activity in your account including files events (adds/edits/deletes), as well as adding or removing shared folders.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
