Missing File

Missing File

I found today I am missing a file in one of my folders. I do not see any files in the "Deleted Files" within Dropbox on the web. If I look at the folder history it says this file was deleted on August 19th 2023 which was 12 days ago. I have a basic account which should have 30 days of recovery. Please advise.

August 19th is actually 43 days ago, and beyond the 30 day recovery period. Unfortunately, if the file was deleted on August 19th it won't be recoverable.

You are right. I had my months mixed up.....I have had this file for years and there was no reason for deleting it. I have no idea how that could have happened. Are there no other options?

Unfortunately, no. Once beyond the recovery period, there's no way to recover a deleted file.
