Issue with old device inadvertently deleting files

My old computer (no longer in my possession), which had my Dropbox still turned on and synchronized got all its content deleted without login out of Dropbox - a few minutes later my new computer got wiped out of all its files. I thought I could find them under the deleted files but…nothing ? How is that possible when we are supposed to have 30 days of backup ?

As long as the person on the first device didnt select to permanently delete them you should be able to restore via the website.

Have a look at www.dropbox.com/events for other restore options. Note they may not appear straight away until the site populates

I have no idea what happened on the initial device but surely the files would anyway appear as available to restore? Nothing is showing in events but this event only took place about 3 hours ago

Is possible that the files do not appear within 3 hours in deleted file to be available to restore ?
