delete folders from unlinked device

Just double checking: if I unlink my laptop from Dropbox and then delete the folders on my laptop, I know it doesn't delete them from my cloud account, but does it delete them from my desktop that it was formerly linked to?

Once you unlink a device, there's no connection back to anything. You can safely delete the files from it.
