Can't delete file, as I'm being asked to upgrade

Can't delete file, as I'm being asked to upgrade

I received an email that my dropbox is over the limit.  I accidentally uploaded a video that was too long.  I'd like to simply go in and delete it, however, I cannot access any of my dropbox files.  When I try to login, my only option is to upgrade to a paid account.  I neither need nor want a paid account.  How can I get in and delete the offending file that put me over my limit.

Welcome aboard the Community, @NReist!

You should be able to delete any file you want from your Dropbox account, without the need to upgrade first.

If you’re not seeing any option to dismiss the upgrade prompt, please send me a screenshot of what you see, and I’ll take a look.

Keep me in the loop for any updates.

Apparently just asking this question fixed it!  This time when I logged in, I could see and get to all my files and delete the offending video.  Thanks.
