When will online-only files work on Linux?
I need to save space on my hard drive. Online-only files would be the perfect solution, but it still does not work on linux fedora.
When will we have this solution?

At the moment, Smart Sync is only available on Windows and Mac. Dropbox has made no announcement on its availability on Linux. They usually don't discuss timelines or upcoming features until they're reaady to announce them, so we likely won't know that it's coming until it's already here, assuming that it's coming at all.

Hi,
I am a long time dropbox user, and I love all the features, in particular the smart sync. After you released the smart sync, I upgraded my dropbox account, and start to make heavy use of smart sync on my workflow.
However, I recently moved my OS to Linux Ubuntu, and I was shocked when I realized smart sync is not available for Linux users. I would like to suggest Dropbox work on this extension. Smart sync was key to my workflow, and I am rethinking my usage and signature with Dropbox due to the limitation of using this feature for Linux Users
Best,
