Hi community,

I hope you're doing well. We switched to a business team subscription. Now we cant share a folder or a file with an external person to dropbox, they are asked to create an account. It wasn't the case a month before. How can we resolve this ? Best

Make sure the team admin has enabled the ability to share externally, and make sure you're inviting them to a shared folder, and not inviting them to join the team. An account will be needed for them to join a shared folder.

If you don't want them to need an account to view the content you're sharing, be sure to send a view-only shared link, instead of an invite to a shared folder.
