Do collaborators automatically have access to new documents in shared content?
When I add new documents to a folder, do my collaborators who have access automatically receive access to the new documents? I notice there's a pop up box that has the option to send to them for review, but I just want to know they have an updated folder with the new documents. Thanks.
I get an error that I've exceeded my Dropbox account's bandwidth limits.
I keep getting this error message but cant seem to find a solution, they have not emailed me, I started a free trial last night and it allowed me to send a link, then I changed my plan and purchase "plus' thinking that will resolve this, anyone got any ideas?
Put File Requests back on the menu prompt.
It was soooo simple to send a file request until dropbox took it off the "menu prompts" that appear in file explorer or finder. Just right click on the folder, select request files and then fill out the form. NOW its awful -- at least 13 steps - starting with needing to open dropbox on line - then fumbling around and eventually having to scroll through the entire file structure of my dropbox to find the folder i'm trying to attach the request to --- that last part is the absolute worst --- there's no way to search for the folder in some sensible way and THEN make a request -- PUT IT BACK ON THE MENU NOW --- you've negatively interrupted my work flow in a totally unnecessary and counter-productive way (and read your forums -- LOTS of people agree with me)
Bring back File Request option in File Explorer.
I used to be able to initiate a "Request Files" by right clicking on the file I wanted the documents to go into. This is more efficient that having to go to the web version, as I 99.9% work out of the File Explorer on my PC. Please bring back the option to "Request Files" in the right click menu.How can I log in to my account without having access to the email address?
I have a dropbox account connected to my yahoo email. I no longer have this email account (yahoo deleted it for inactivity) but I would like to reach the dropbox account connected to it. I have tried several times to log in using diffrent ways but nothing has worked. I would be so thankful for help in reaching all my old photos. Does anyone have advice?
Stopped syncing as I've used all of my storage space
I am a part of a group and I do not 'own' my dropbox account. But I am getting messages saying my account has stopped synching and I have used well over my allowed amount of storage and am being encouraged to upgrade. But it's not my account! No one else in the group is getting this message. I can't upload things in the box because of this. I can't find an actual person to get an answer from. Can someone help?I can't share a folder with another user due to "phishing attempt".
Hi, I am unable to share a folder from my dropbox with another dropbox user as i get an error saying that 'a phishing tentative' was detected. What type of file could trigger such error ? My files are mainly PDF, doc and excel files. Thank you A.
