Opening a folder takes too long on Windows 11 when Dropbox is running

Suddenly, opening a Dropbox folder takes too long time when the dropbox app is running. when I close the Dropbox app I can browse the folders normally and smoothly without any problem. noting that all the files are available offline.

Sorry to see that you're having this issue, @marwan_zahran2004.

What's the sync status and version of the app, when you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray?

Also, how many files do you currently have in your Dropbox folder?

You can right-click on your Dropbox folder and choose "Properties" to see this info.

Thanks in advance.

Hey @marwan_zahran2004, thanks for the info!

When did this start happening on your end? Do you have any third-party apps (VPN, antivirus or other cloud backups) that could be interfering with Dropbox?

Thanks for clarifying that for us @marwan_zahran2004

Have you tried rebooting your computer or re-installing the app since you first noticed this?

Hey @marwan_zahran2004, if you try to boot your device on Safe mode, do you notice a different behavior?

If not, then I'd be more than happy to send you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this.
