I have an eBook that I have on DB and use a shared link to access it. I just discovered that all the Shared Links with my Subscription Level (Dropbox Plus) doesn't allow you to change that setting. It is a large jump in price to host just a couple of things. Does anyone know how long a Link is good in Dropbox Plus? Also, is there anywhere else we can share it without paying the exorbitant prices for that simple function?
Hey @KC805, thanks for posting on our Community!
Shared links do not have an expiration date by default. Could you clarify what is the exact error you're getting when trying to access the shared link in question?
Thanks!

I have an eBook that I have offered on my website for download via a link. I posted this a few months ago and when I tested it, it said the link expired. I went out to DB and tried to change the settings to the link and it said that you can't change it to cancel an expiration unless I upgrade from DropBox Plus to Pro.
The toggle looks like it is off, but it definitely gave me a message that the Link expired. This has happened to a couple of people on your forums.
Hey @KC805, was the error a Dropbox one?
Do you have a screenshot of it?
And if you just copy the link from your account, does it work?

The link is a link to a document (free ebook) and it only lasts a few days.
Yes, it is a dropbox link
Thanks for clarifying, @KC805!
Now, since this is quite odd indeed, can we open a ticket for you instead, and take a closer look? If that's alright, we can message you to this email address.
