How can I share a folder without other members seeing each other, or sharing a link to the folder?

I want to share a folder with multiple people. I don't want them to be able to share it with others, and I don't want them to be able to see the information of others with whom I have shared the folder.

So far, I can only find two ways to share a folder:

(1) Invite people  to the folder via email meaning they can’t share access links with others but anyone logged in can see all others invited, or
(2) send embedded links which means they can’t see others, but the link is shareable with others if they choose to pass it to anyone else.

Is there not a third option? Neither of these is ideal.

Hi @msfrederick, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Currently what you're looking for isn't possible via Dropbox. Shared folder members can see each other, and can also share links to the folder.

Likewise, a shared link to a folder can be accessed by anyone else with the URL.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
