Hello,

Using Dropbox Transfer on Desktop APP I am trying to send some files from my PC directly to different email addresses. Unfortunately it does not recognize email address I enter. I tried several different.

I can send my sharing a link manually, but this is not what I want.

Check photo.

Solved... The problem is I was typing in the wrong filed. This Dropbox app screen needs some redesigning in my opinion 🙂

Thanks for posting on our Community, @Keano17.

In general, each plan has a specific size limit when it comes to file transfers.

Can you take a look at this link and let me know if the size of the files you’re trying to transfer is within these limits?

Keep me updated!

Hello,

This has nothing to do with size. I am able to transfer files via link.

There is some bug in the desktop APP!

btw. I have a 2 TB plan!

p.s.

You can see the error on the photo. Error also implies this has nothing to do with file size.

Have you tried opening a file transfer perhaps via www.dropbox.com? Does the same issue persist or is this only happening on your desktop app?

Also, when inserting the email address, do you copy/paste it to Dropbox or do you write it manually instead?

Finally, I’d like you to clarify what’s the syncing status of your desktop app and the app version it’s running at the moment.

Keep me posted.

Glad to know the issue has been resolved, @Keano17!

I’ve passed your feedback about this to our team, as well.

In case there’s something else I can help you with though, give me a nudge.
