someone shared a file with me but when I click the 'Add to Dropbox' button I get a screen with an unhappy dog and the caption, 'That didnt work for some reason'. On a MS desktop. Can anyone help please?
Hi @Jim0060, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Just to clarify, is this a shared file, or a shared folder that you were invited to?
Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps? Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi Jay. Thanks for prompt response. it is an invitation to edit a folder. I'm using Chrome as my browser so I'll try your suggestions and let you know. Jim
I tried Edge and got the same result. I'll try and make time later to try the other stuff too
