Hi there!
 
Are you by any chance referring to the green circle with a check mark :white_check_mark: that’s on your files in your Dropbox folder? If so, please note that this icon translates as a file or folder that has finished syncing the latest changes and is up to date. These could be changes you made, or changes made by someone you shared the file or folder with. 
 
If I’ve misunderstood your concern, please let me know any additional info or send me a screenshot (excluding personal info) illustrating what you’re seeing so as to have a better understanding.
