Re: Dropdown in shared tab is not allowing me to choose the first folder on the list

Dropdown in shared tab is not allowing me to choose the first folder on the list

I access Dropbox via the web browser, however, when I am in my Shared Folders, there is a dropdown that is constantly there which means I cannot access the first one or two shared folders that I am in. If I use Dropbox as an application on my desktop I can only enter the shared folder I am currently apart of. As I do not have a lot of storage, I need to remove myself and add myself to different shared folders regularly. Do you know how I can remove this drop down?

I have tried accessing this via Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Incognito on Chrome and it appears on all three. I have also cleared my browsing history.

Hey @CashT, thanks for reaching out to us.

Is your browser currently zoomed in perhaps?

If so, can you zoom out, to see if that makes any difference?

Keep me posted.

Hi Hannah,

When I zoom out on my browser, the dropdown also zooms out. It does not make a difference unfortunately.

Thanks

Hey @CashT ,

Could you please try if it works with a different browser, or try clearing your browser cache, if that's ok with you? Thanks

Hi Haoli,

I have tried accessing Dropbox on Microsoft Edge, a private window in Edge & incognito on Chrome. I have also cleared my browsing history but the Dropdown remains.

Thanks

Thanks, @CashT.

Can you actually send us a screenshot of your entire screen, so we can have a better visual of the situation?

Just make sure to hide any personal info.

Hi Hannah,

Sure this is my entire view when I am in my shared folders:

Thanks, @CashT.

Out of curiosity, do you see the same thing on mobile browsers as well?

By the way, are you using the Dropbox mobile app? Because you could use that as a temporary workaround to see your shared folders.

Hi Hannah,

Yes I still see the same thing on my mobile browser as well.

Thanks, I will use the mobile app as a temporary work around for the folders I cannot see.

The menu dropdown is covering shared items in the shared folder.
