I am trying to access a password in the browser extenion (v3.26.0) that I created on my android phone (v278.13, phone is S25 Ultra Android 15), but it is not available. Both are logged in to the same account. How do I fix this?29Views0likes2CommentsCan I remove the "your activity" files?
It seem impossible to imagine but apparently Dropbox has decided that recent activity/files in recent activity are now permanently viewable until replaced by more recent activity. Really? I hope I'm wrong. Dropbox started out as uniquely user friendly and easy to use. I've watched that disappear over the years. It's becoming every bit the arrogant, controlling, short sighted and customer unfriendly type of site that it once stood out from. Again, if anyone has different information, please share. I'm truly hoping I'm wrong.336Views2likes7CommentsHow to expand left sidebar width on the website?
How can I expand the left sidebar width. I have many levels of files and I can not see the names of folders that I want to move files into. As you can see below, all I can see is the first letter of the folder "A" and there are several of them. I want to be able to expand the left sidebar so I can see the names of those folders and not just the first letter. I was able to do it before, but not now for some reason. Thanks!1.8KViews6likes12CommentsHow can I open shared links directly in Finder/Explorer?
Hello, One of the most important and highly requested missing features in Dropbox is the ability to open a shared link for Files and Folder from a team directly in Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows). For teams working within the same folder structure—just with different root paths—this functionality is crucial (especially when working on slack or other platforms). There should be an option to allow users with granted permissions to open shared files and folders directly in their synced Dropbox environment, without the need to download them separately, saving both time and storage space. Implementing this feature would greatly enhance workflow efficiency and collaboration for teams using Dropbox as a central file management tool. Thank you for considering this suggestion! This is an ongoing complaint from your user base that has been documented for years now. I see a mobile app fix was implemented. Unfortunately for me I mainly use the web version, so I can only click the little eyeball icon to hide the section each time I refresh the page or move between folders, etc. I don't need my client's case photos, which are often graphic and disturbing, splashed across the top of my screen when I am trying to pull up a case file to check if a court date notice came in. We don't need the equivalent of a Ralph Wiggum AI messing with our work flow and potentially exposing sensitive information and images when we navigate our folders. We know where we've put things and if we forget, there is a search function that works great. Please give the end user on all platforms the option to permanently disable this "function".41Views0likes1CommentWhen moving a file while in preview mode, it still appears in the file list
This was working on Dropbox before but it is not working anymore. You should bring this feature back. So the problem we have is when we move a file from the preview mode. The file moves and get a new location but it is still shown in the preview mode in the mapp it got moved from. It should closed down and you should see the next file in the mapp. The next file in line. Since we started to use Dropbox. For over a year ago it has always been like this. Say you have ten files in a mapp. You open up the first file in the mapp in preview mode. You can see the file and then you have arrows with one of ten. This shows that it is ten files in this particular mapp. Now when you move file number one to another mapp it will move and close down. You will now see the file number two in the mapp in the preview mode. Automatically. But now it will be shown one of nine instead in the mapp because we moved one file. And then you repeat the moving file by file till you get the last file in the mapp. One of one. But now you still see one of ten though you moved all files from the original mapp and it looks like all ten files still are in the mapp. Though they have all been moved to a new mapp. Now you can move all ten files one by one but you still think they are still in the original mapp though they have been moved.37Views0likes2CommentsCan I rename the Dropbox folder to flatten the Dropbox folder path?
Hello Dropbox community! Does anyone know if this possible? Can I take my existing folder path and flatten out the folder path? I would like to rename my "Dropbox" Name to Folder1 Existing - C:\Users\Name\Dropbox\Folder2 Proposed - C:\Folder1\Folder2 The end goal is to zip the "Folder1" and extract it to a computer that doesnt have dropbox and the contents of Folder 2 is linked to the "C:\Folder1\Folder2" Directory. Thank you everyone!36Views0likes1CommentFix actions overlay covering up comments in RTL languages
When commenting on a shared file, the comments are being overlayed by the action buttons on hover, so when hovering to resolve a comment you cant see if its the right comment. this is only an issue on RTL languages where the text start from the right and the overlay is on the right too. The Comment: Covered by the action buttons:1.1KViews1like24Comments
