Apps and Installations

Hello all!
In a newly installed Mac Mini M2, after launching the Dropbox installer, the downloader immediately fails. It retries three times after waiting a certain amount of seconds (5, 10, 20) each time and then fails completely (see screenshots).
I tried to replicate the issue on two other Macs where Dropbox is already installed and the issue persists: the Dropbox downloader consistently fails.
There is no additional (helpful) feedback or error/warning message. Does anyone know if there are there any logs where I would be able to find anything that might help me identify the issue?
Any thoughts, or perhaps this is a "today" temporary issue? FWIW, I istalled the app on another Mac last Friday 7/5 without any issues.
Hey @walermo517, let's jump right into this!
Have you tried the offline installer, by any chance?
Do you perhaps have any security programs like an antivirus, VPN, firewall etc. that might be blocking Dropbox?
If so, can you temporarily disable them, to see if that helps?
Keep me posted!

I am having the exact same issue with an M3 iMac that I just purchased today. I've downloaded the Dropboxinstaller.dmg and I get the same errors at the original post. No other apps have been installed on the iMac. This was my first step.
Thanks for the tip to download the offline installer. That worked.
Thank you, Megan!
The offline installer worked like a charm!
As for other apps blocking the installer, I don't have VPN installed on any of my Macs, all firewall settings and antivirus apps are identical on all Macs, with no issues with prior installations (two installed last week).
Cheers!
Awesome news @walermo517 & @randomaxes!
Glad it worked out. If you need anything else, just give us a shout! 😎
