Dropbox for MacOS is now ready

I've got Dropbox installed on an M1 MacBook. After upgrading to Ventura 13.0 it brings up a notification. If I click on "Get started" and go through all the steps in the process it appears to work, but the notification never goes away, and doesn't have any method to manually remove it. I've tried restarting the Dropbox app, and restarting the whole computer. Neither make the notification go away.

@Hannah hello. Right, just the notification doesn't go away. My folder: Macintosh HD > Users > me > Dropbox

Thanks for the update, @matovsky. Can we send you an email, so we can investigate this further?

Hi, I had a same problem. Try to uninstall dropbox from your computer, remove every single dropbox file from every directory, unlinl your current forlder and delete the synced files from your computer. Then install the app again, let it create new dropbox folder on your computer, resync all the files that are online in your Dropbox and then do the update again it worked for me.
Make sure you really remove all dropbox related files from your system and empty the trash, otherwise it will not work.
Good luck.

Thank you @Hannah but I haven't got your email yet. Only info about my badges on Dropbox website 😄

Hey @matovsky! I sent the email to the address associated with your Community profile here.

Can you double-check to see if you received it? And make sure to check your spam/junk folder as well, just in case.

Okay, @matovsky, not to worry, I just sent you another email, let me know if you got this one.

On this page, you should also be able to see your support ticket history; are you able to see my emails there?
