Hey matovsky, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Can you please clarify if the update actually takes place, when you go through the process, and it's just the notification that doesn't go away?
If you click on your Dropbox icon, then on your initials/profile pic, then on "Preferences" and then on "Sync", what is the location of your Dropbox folder?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Hannah hello. Right, just the notification doesn't go away. My folder: Macintosh HD > Users > me > Dropbox
- JV042 years agoExplorer | Level 4Hi, I had a same problem. Try to uninstall dropbox from your computer, remove every single dropbox file from every directory, unlinl your current forlder and delete the synced files from your computer. Then install the app again, let it create new dropbox folder on your computer, resync all the files that are online in your Dropbox and then do the update again it worked for me.
Make sure you really remove all dropbox related files from your system and empty the trash, otherwise it will not work.
Good luck.- matovsky2 years agoHelpful | Level 6
I did it. It doesn't work
