Dropbox can't be found on UVI Falcon, after it got moved to the CloudStorage folder on macOS.

I use the sampling software UVI Falcon on three different Macs. My sample library folder is located on Dropbox so that the files are updated on all 3 machines. But after Dropbox was moved to the hidden Cloud Storage folder, I can't open my library when browsing in Falcon because Dropbox cannot be found. How can I fix this?

Hi biosfera, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It sounds like the app you're using is unable to access that location for some reason. I'd recommend reaching out to the developer for them to look into this matter further.

This article does contain some methods on how to programatically locate the Dropbox folder on your machine.

Keep me updated with any progress!

I received this answer from UVI: "We strongly recommend to not use locations backed by cloud storage like Dropbox as search path in Falcon as it can definitely cause Falcon to malfunction."
