After a migration to my new Mac, my Desktop, Documents & Downloads disappeared.
Hi
I did a migration from my old mac to a new one. I have then activate my dropbox on my new mac. however during the sync of the dropbox, all my files from my desktop, documents, download disappeared (and i dont know where they are).
More problematic is that i cannot save anything on my desktop it is like forbidden.
Does someone have a solution for this issue?
thanks

Hey olivier Perio Strasbourg, welcome to our Community!
Would you mind walking me through the steps that you followed when trying the migration?
Did your content disappear locally from the device, or you're also not able to locate it when you visit your account online? If you visit your Backup page, what do you see there?
Let me know more!

files disappeared yes
and most importantly i could not access the desktop documetns and download folder
then i reformatted my new computer and did not use the migration software....
i think that this backup system of the dropbox is not good and cause problem (maybe when you do a migration which is a kind of a clone dropbox backup consider it as the same computer than initailly....)

Hey olivier Perio Strasbourg, thanks for the heads up!
Do you still face the same issue, or is everything resolved now?
