Suddenly, I can't open any powerpoint files online or from my desktop in dropbox.  I can open, edit, and save all my excel files, but not powerpoint.  I use an iMac and macOS High Sierra.

Thanks for the questions, Walter.

The error I was getting is "additional permissions are required to access the following files"

Then the message showed me the name of the powerpoint file I was trying to open.  My dropbox app says it is up to date.  I read elsewhere that the macOS High Sierra may have been causing the error message.

So, I just updated to macOS Mojave and the problem went away.  Why my mac decided to complicate the middle of my work day is beyond me. Thanks for checking in.

Hey there @sjohnstal - sorry to hear that.

Are you getting any specific errors? Could you share a  screenshot so we can have a visual too?

While we're at it, what's the desktop app on your computer saying? Is it "up to date" or still syncing changes?
