It’s been 4-1/2 years since this was first brought up as a question, and about 3 years since it was submitted as an idea.* It’s time to bring it up again.
Anyone who uses tables knows the importance of being able to merge cells. PLEASE, Dropbox, give us this ability! Thanks.

Personally, I think the Ideas Submissions here is a poor system, as I suspect only a small percentage of users know about it.
So I’m trying to give my “idea” (more of a missing feature) a bump by promoting it with a question to the community: Do you use tables? We need the ability to merge cells!
We’ll see if this is allowed here or not. If not, I’m sorry — but I DO think more people need to know that an “idea” submission requires support from the community! If not enough people give it a thumbs-up, it gets dropped, even though there may be a number of people who support it, but never knew it was a suggestion.
