This will certainly not be news to you but one of the glaring omissions in Dropbox Paper is the lack of coloured text. The value to the readability of documents could be greatly improved aside from making the more engaging to share and interact with.
So, if this is too big a stretch for your developers, how about introducing some basic HTML tags. It doesn't have to be full HTML 5 or CSS just some simple tags but particularly coloured text.

As someone who is mildly dyslexic, coloured text can make reading far easier. However coloured text is also extremely useful for grouping thoughts and topics as well as highlighting key words and phrases.
