Can we have an option to rotate files within Dropbox?
CAN YOU ROITATE THE VIEW IN DROPBOX IF FILES WERE LOADED UPSIDE DOWN?
- LusilDropbox StaffHey Nikkilh,Although there isn’t currently an option to rotate images when you preview them online, you should be able to apply changes (including rotating them) by using a third party app either through your web browser or when you access the file locally through the desktop app or the mobile app.In any case, I’ve passed your comments along to the dev team regarding this and moved your post to the Share an idea section of the Forum, so as to keep track of your feedback.Let me know if you have any other questions!

Please let the dev team know this would be very valuable.

How is this not a thing in 2019? Didn't dropbox have this like 5 years ago? Apps ain't what they used to be. :/

How could this feature be missing? Please make this change

Rotating pictures in Dropbox used to be possible, clockwise/anticlockwise, very very simple - nothing to do with editing or adding 73 useless things before you post your life online. It was a tool to be able to see a file horizontally or vertically. Why do you need to go to third party editors to rotate a picture? What is this canvas non sense?
Bring the old, simple things that used to work rather well please.
Many thanks.

2020 and they say it needs more support to rotate a document. Here's an idea how about making it more user friendly and you might get more people to use DB.
If it wasn't for the company I work for requiring it I wouldn't be on here at all.

Wishing for this as well. Sometimes, you know, you just simply want to get a view from a different angle. I'm not blaming Dropbox for asking for more support. I wonder where all the people want to rotate something! Maybe I'm more unusal than I think.

Absolute joke, I never use DB becuase I'm under the age of 40 but my new client uses it and I am going to recommend a different cloud storage service.
Basic features like this being missed along with the pricing is nothing less than ridiculous.

Out of curiosity, what are you going to recommend?
