Help logging into my personal Dropbox account, without access to email.

Hello, 

I need help logging into my Dropbox account with an e-mail address I can no longer access.

I am using Dropbox on Windows. The Dropbox app is installed on my computer.

When I open up a folder I have access to both, my personal account and a work account. 

The app somehow only reads the login information for my work account. I can't switch to my personal account. So I can't purchase Dropbox for my personal account...

I also don't have access to my personal account because I no longer have access to the e-mail which my personal account is under. 

How do I get access to my old personal account? It has all my files, pictures, notes, taxes etc. inside of it.

    Hey JJWidmaier, welcome to our Community! 

    Would you mind clarifying what you mean when you say that you have access to both your personal and work account when you open up a folder?

    Also, do you remember your personal account's Dropbox password? In order to sign into your personal account on the desktop app, you'd need to locally sign out of your current work account.

    Then sign into your personal account online, and then try to sign into the app. There's a chance that you'll be asked for a security code, which you'll need access to the email address in order to receive.

    If this is the case, let me know and we'll figure out the next steps.
