Got a shared invitation that appears to be spam. How do I block users in Dropbox?
Got a message : admin [email removed as per Community Guidelines] invited you to view the file "Annual Salary Increase Approval & Open Investment Enrollment.paper" on Dropbox.
I don't know this person. So first indicator of spam through Dropbox.
How do I block this user and report them to Dropbox. The method to do this through the menus accessible through my account is not clear.
Thanks!

Hey pflipper, let's jump right into this!
It's best to ignore the invite, and not to click on anything in the email that you received since you don't know the sender.
Keep in mind that I suggest that you also report this email using this form. You can't block users when using Dropbox, but reporting them will help us keep an eye out.
If you need something else, please let me know and I will be more than happy to help every step of the way.

Hi Megan,
Thanks for chiming in so quickly.
Just to be clear, I received the email, then went to my Dropbox account, and saw the shared item in something called Dropbox Paper. I removed access to the Paper Documents folder which appears to take a user into the Dropbox Paper app, but the file remained in the shared documents area. I was eventually able to click on the three lines at the right of the file and select "Remove Me". It would still be beneficial from a Dropbox standpoint to track down these spammers who apparently can utilize Dropbox for their nefarious plans. Is there a way to report or block the email address using Dropbox software to pfish?
