Hi sdshahbazi01, thanks for posting on the Community!
This is generally a security measure to prevent multiple attempts to reset passwords.
Could you try waiting for 24 hours and then attempt to reset the password again?
As you didn't receive any emails, could you try adding no-reply@dropbox.com to your contacts list, and check the spam folder the next time you attempt to reset the password?

My password no longer works.
I've tried resetting my password, but keep getting the message "Too many incorrect attempts. Please try again in a few minutes."
I wait 24hours, sometimes weeks, but still get this message and can not reset my password.
Please can anyone help.

Hi there. I have been trying to reset my password for an email that I haven't used for close to a year. There are two things are happened and I don't know what to do or who to reach out to:
1. I didn't receive the reset password link in my email.
2. I tried to redo it, and it kept showing "too many attempts. try few minutes later"
Can someone reach out to me and help me out with resetting one of my dropbox account?
