Need to change email address but can't access the email...

I signed up with an address that I no longer have access to.

I can access the account with a password, using my personal computer. I changed the email address and it sent a confirmation email to my new email. I clicked 'confirm' and it asked me to log in with my password. I did. Then it said it sent an email to the address I no longer have access to to finalize the change.

I can't seem to find my way out of this loop.

How can I change the email address if I don't have access to the old email?

Thanks.

If the email was not already confirmed its not possible I'm afraid.

You will need to set up a new account and move everything over to that one.

Hej Putte1957, tak fordi du skrev her i dag!

Undskyld for eventuelle fejl du måtte finde.

Hi Putte1957, thanks for posting here today!

Just to make sure we're on the same page, you wish to change the email address linked to your Dropbox account.

Do you currently have access to the Dropbox account? Maybe you have some linked devices, that would still be connected to the account itself?

Also, do you know the password of the account?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

PS: I've included above, an automated translation of my message. Apologies for any mistakes you may find.

      mange hilsner Inger

My email address associated with Dropbox is no longer in existence.   How can I change the email address to one that is current?

When I log in, there is a security screen advising me to change my password and a linbk to sent to my obsolete email address.  Can you help me solve this crazy situation please
