I have a similar situation. I have not used my Dropbox account in almost a year. I actually forgot I had it. Obviously - not something I need. Anyway - I just got a bill for $102 renewal. I received no notification that it was about to renew. I need to obtain a refund for this and cancel or "downgrade" to free account. Can someone help me on how to pursue this. Unfortunately - it is not clear on the website how this can be done. HELP!

I have the same issue. I have a plus subscription for $119.98 per year which just renewed on February 15, 2023, i just downgraded my subscription to Basic since I don't need Plus and it shows that my subsciption will be downgraded in February 15, 2024, I want the downgrade now and to get a refund for the unused balance. Please help.

Hi,
I am in a similar situation. Have been paying double subscriptions as somehow two emails are registered and need to cancel and refund. Previously inquired to Dropbox about this at the time when I had access to chat, and they said would refund if I went through process. Now looking into this process and can no longer access the chat or phone! Would appreciate the support to be able to go through with this and obtain due refund.

I have a similar issue - I work for a very small charity and we had our Dropbox subscription on auto-renewal without our knowledge. Now we want to please cancel or downgrade our subscription as we have not used Dropbox for 2 years - please can you advise on how to do this and the chance of some a partial refund on our Direct Debit sub.

I have been waiting to cancel my subscription, and find it was renewed about 10 days ago automatically for another year.
I just now tried to remove my payment details, and find I can't remove my Paypal without adding another method e.g. Visa card.
I want to cancel the sub and refund this payment please.

I wanted to mention that you can reach out to our support team for further assistance through this form.
Please do this through an incognito window without logging into any Dropbox account while making sure to include all the relevant information along with an email address we can reach you at.
When you get the ticket ID from our system, you can share it with us here so we can then take a look in our system and check on its status.

I have this exact same issue but mine is dated 07/14/23. I thought I had downgraded as well. I only used the app a couple times while trying to send photos back and forth to my brothers in-law. My wife, their sister, passed away on 05/22/23 and we were trying to put together a slide show for her funeral. I'm retired and on a fixed income and I can not afford cable TV let alone a subscription to Dropbox.

Just to make sure I give you the correct directions, can you please confirm for me if you’ve been billed for a Dropbox Sign plan or a Dropbox subscription instead?

Pretty sure it was just a drop box plan. I received a bill for $119.88 through my Paypal account.
