Downgrade from Pro to Basic - What Happens to Files?

So the terms and conditions DO state that they can remove files to bring you under quota. I'm not, however, aware of that ever happening. What I would say though is you do need to get the files off at some point just in case anything happens and also remember that no changes or updates, at all, will sync to Dropbox while you are over quota - so do not rely upon it as a backup.
