Credit Card charged with subscription to account not owned by me.

Hello All,

Can not get through the AI Chat bots or figure this out with the online info. I was charged on my credit card for a subscription to an email adress that is 99% teh same as my email. Except it is .com instead of .ca. I dont have access to this account. No password or anything.  I Cancelled my credit card and flagged the charge as fraud but i want Dropbox to remove this  "myname@.com"  account.

how to get help- i have two legit free accounts which do not provide access to a person.

Any info will help Thanks

Frederik

You'll need to contact Dropbox Support directly. Visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.

Dropbox cannot charge you if they don't have your billing information. If you've been charged and didn't give them your billing information, then someone else has and you should be contacting your bank.
