In general, as this sounds like a database file, we don't recommend using it with Dropbox if multiple users are able to access it at the same time, due to sync conflicts.

I had the chance to read @Rich post and it makes lots of sense if people are trying to access that file at the same time. Now my follow up question to that is about what happens if that file is not accessed at the same time? Say a team members access it at 9am and the other one goes in 2 hours later, does it work the same way? With our current platform we are having an issue where the type of quickbook files mentioned make the rest of the sync process to stop. Do you see this scenario a possible one with Dropbox?
