Windows Protection App control blocking Dropbox
Windows 10 app control blocked dropbox.
When opening, Windows cancels with this notification:
Virus & threat protection Unauthorised changes blocked Controlled folder access blocked Dropbox...

Someone stopped by and had solved this problem before and helped me to resolve it.
you have to go to Settings on Windows, search for Controlled Folder Access and then click the arrows on the image and add Dropbox to the list

Hi Nancy,
there are two notifications.
The first is from Dropbox to say it can't load up,
The second is the Windows operating system saying that Dropbox is an unauthorised app.
This is part of Ransomware (I think) control
Normally when you click on the windows notification it sends you to a settings page where you can override and let the app through.
Now that page is empty.
So I think I just need the steps to get to where I can maybe manually add dropbox.com?
I'm sure that would work
