What is Dropbox Doing in the Background with All That Data?

So, I've noticed that Dropbox is continually sending between 6 and 8 Mb/s (or 0.6 to 1 MB/s), not an inconsiderable amount of data, around the clock. It certainly adds up. (Not receiving very much back.) I find this curious, since I haven't uploaded anything new today on any device, and there's no recent activity shown in the app. So what is it doing? Is it spying on me in some way?

I haven't configured any kind of synchronization on this computer. Not photos, not backups, not documents, nothing. All it has is whatever I put in the Dropbox folder.

Glurph, All you put in Dropbox folder is matter of synchronisation on the same machine. If you have put recently something large there, that can be the reason.

    Have a nice Day.
