Hey amaury_b, sorry to hear about that!
Could you confirm the location of the Dropbox folder on your machine? Also, when did this start happening on your end?
A screenshot showing the Dropbox folder without any sync icons would also help.
This will help me to assist further!

Hey amaury_b, I see, interesting.
As a last step, can you try to perform an advanced reinstall using these steps?
If this doesn't work, let me know.

I have also lost sync icons on two of my Macs... both running the latest versions of macOS Sequoia and Dropbox. On one of the Macs, it has been many weeks already and they have never come back... on the other machine it just happened today. I've tried everything to bring them back... restarts, finder force quits, quitting other syncing apps, loading cloud storage apps in order (Dropbox first or last), etc. This was not uncommon before macOS Sequoia, but we had the ability to uncheck and recheck Finder Extensions, and that would solve it. Now that option is gone. I also use Sync alongside Dropbox and it suffers the same issue. Reinstalling any apps doesn't help. It is a really big problem as my hard drive is smaller than my Dropbox and now I never know what is synced locally. Please get this feature back as a large Dropbox is crippled without it. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about this, GG35. Just to clarify, did the issue come back this time right after updating the OS of your computers, or was it already present when this happened?
Can you clarify the current syncing status of your Dropbox app, as well?

Hi Nancy. The issue has existed for years, but like I mentioned, it could be fixed by toggling off/on the Dropbox Finder Extension. It was likely arising due to a finder extension conflict. Sync was the most obvious culprit, but other programs could do it as well. When I first upgraded to Sequoia, my MackBook Air lost its finder checkmarks almost right away. I have never been able to get them back, and that includes disabling Sync and several restarts and finder force-quits... and a Dropbox reinstall. My MacBook Pro did the same yesterday as I was doing a lot of extensive working with photo editing. The syncing status of my Dropbox app shows that it is fully synced... this has never been the problem. Dropbox is my primary cloud storage service due to speed/reliability and the syncing works great... it's just the finder sync checkmarks that are the issue. Interestingly, OneDrive shows the sync checkmarks properly in Sequoia, but I noticed that they have added functionality through the 'File Providers' section of the extensions settings on macOS. Dropbox is noticeably absent here. (PS - I have also tried disabling OneDrive to get the Dropbox sync checkmarks back... that didn't work either).
