Hello friend.
Unfortunately, after several tests I did, the only alternative I found was to delete the aforementioned folders and reinstall, thus correcting the permissions.

I found a workaround for the issue I was having with dropbox installer: I had to explicitly tell my Mac to open the installer with DiskImageMounter.app by right-clicking on the .dmg file. Normally, just double-clicking on a .dmg file will mount the installer's disk image. However, for some reason Dropbox's installer isn't automatically recognized as a disk image to be mounted.
After doing that, I installed it and Dropbox works.
