Migrating to a New Mac Using the Apple Migration Assistant Program
Here's my current understanding. I'd appreciate it if a Dropbox rep could confirm it and/or clarify if anything is incorrect.

Hey fssbob, thanks for posting to our Community again.
You have the process absolutely right.
However, one thing to keep in mind is that when you sign out of computer A and then back in, you'll go back to the non File Provider version of Dropbox.
But the system will eventually ask you to upgrade again.
Just wanted to let you know, so you are not surprised by the change.
