After a system restore, it seems that I now have two Dropbox folders. Can I delete 1?
After messing about with file restore, I ended up having to run system restore to undo my poking.
This has left me with 2 copies of Dropbox 1 renamed to Dropbox (Old), all the files appear to be there in both, so Can I just delete 1? and if so does it matter which.
Cheers Bill

HI,
Yes, you can safely delete one of the Dropbox folders. It doesn't matter which one, as long as both contain the same files. However, ensure that you’ve synced everything properly before deleting to avoid data loss. You might want to check the folder that is actively syncing to confirm which is the current one.

Hey Bill E.12, I hope you're doing well!
The best thing that you can do is check the app's preferences, and specifically under your Sync tab, to see the active location of your Dropbox folder.
Once you do that, double check that all of your content is syncing there, and the files/folders all have their syncing icons.
You should be able to delete any other paths, and keep the one shown under your Sync tab.
If you have any questions, let me know!
